Privacy Policy for Singium
Effective date: 10 June 2026
Ethan Brown ("we", "us") built the Singium app. This Privacy Policy explains how Singium handles your information. By using Singium, you agree to this policy.
The short version
Singium does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All audio processing happens on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no accounts.
Microphone access
Singium needs access to your device's microphone to do its core job: detect the pitch of your voice and apply auto-tune in real time. This audio is processed live, on your device. It is not recorded, saved, or transmitted unless you explicitly tap the Record button.
Recordings
If you choose to record a performance, the recording is saved locally on your device. Singium does not upload your recordings anywhere. If you use the Share feature, you decide where the file goes (for example, Messages, Files, or another app) — that transfer is handled by iOS and the destination you select, not by us.
Information we collect
None. Singium does not collect personal information, does not require an account, contains no analytics or tracking, displays no ads, and does not use any third-party data-collection services. No data is sent off your device by the app.
Data retention and deletion
Any recordings you make remain on your device until you delete them. Deleting the app removes the app's local data from your device.
Children's privacy
Singium does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information.
Third parties
Singium does not share data with third parties because it does not collect any. The app uses no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
