PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy for Singium

Effective date: 3 October 2026

This is the privacy policy for Singium (the "App"), a live auto-tune, recording and beat-making app for iOS and Android developed by Ethelium ("we", "us"). It explains what information the App handles, what is shared with our advertising partners, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • Your voice, recordings, videos, beats and imported sounds stay on your device. We have no servers and no accounts, and we never receive your audio or video.
  • The free version shows ads. Our advertising partners (Unity Ads and Unity LevelPlay, formerly ironSource) collect device and usage information to show and measure those ads.
  • Singium Premium removes all ads. For Premium subscribers the advertising software is never started, so it collects nothing.

Microphone and camera

Singium uses the microphone to detect the pitch of your voice and auto-tune it in real time. This audio is processed live on your device. It is only saved when you tap Record, and it is never uploaded by the App.

If you use Video take, Singium uses the front camera to record a video of your performance and combines it with your tuned audio on your device. The video is never uploaded by the App.

Recordings, beats and sounds you import

Recordings, videos, beats, beat projects and any audio files you import into the App are stored locally on your device. If you use Share or Export, you choose where the file goes (for example Messages, Files or another app); that transfer is handled by your device's operating system and the destination you pick, not by us.

On iOS, Singium can sync your saved presets between your own devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, under your Apple ID. This data goes to Apple's iCloud, not to us.

Advertising

The free version of Singium shows ads (including rewarded ads you can choose to watch before exporting, interstitial ads and a banner). Ads are delivered by Unity Ads and Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), which are operated by Unity Technologies. Their software in the App collects and shares the following information with Unity and its ad partners to deliver ads, measure ad performance, provide analytics, and prevent fraud:

  • Device and other identifiers, such as the advertising ID (Android), the app set ID, or on iOS the identifier for vendors (and the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking in your device settings)
  • Approximate location, derived from your IP address (not precise GPS location)
  • App activity, such as your interactions with ads (views, taps, completions) and other in-app actions related to ads
  • Installed apps — specifically, whether certain app stores are installed on your device, so an ad can open the right store
  • Purchase history related to ads and in-app purchases, used for ad measurement
  • App information and performance, such as diagnostics and crash information about the ad software
  • Basic device information, such as device model, operating system version, language and network type

This information is encrypted in transit. How Unity uses it is described in the Unity Privacy Policy, which also explains how to make privacy requests to Unity.

Singium Premium (subscription)

Singium Premium is an optional monthly subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your name, card or payment details. The App only checks with Apple or Google whether your subscription is active. While Premium is active, no ads are shown and the advertising software is not started.

What we do not collect

We do not run servers for Singium, do not create accounts, and do not use our own analytics. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or the content of your recordings.

Your choices

  • Turn off ads: subscribe to Singium Premium.
  • Limit ad personalisation: on Android, go to Settings › Privacy › Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID. On iOS, ads are not personalised with your advertising identifier unless you allow apps to request tracking (Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).
  • Permissions: you can revoke microphone or camera access at any time in your device settings (some features will stop working).
  • Delete your data: delete recordings and beats in the App, or uninstall the App to remove everything it stored on your device. For data held by Unity, see the Unity Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Singium is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the advertising-supported version. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App changes. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
