— ETHELIUM · WEB DESIGN
Websites that don't look like everyone else's.
I design and build websites for businesses — hand-built, fast, and genuinely yours. No dragged-out page-builder templates, no agency layers, no hand-offs: you work directly with the person designing and writing the site. Same care that went into the apps and this very page.

— What I build
Three ways I can help.
Whether you're starting from nothing or fixing a site that's letting you down, it's the same hands-on, no-templates approach.
Websites for businesses
Marketing sites that load fast, read clearly, and make people trust you — hand-built to fit your business, not dragged out of a template everyone else is using.
Redesigns
Take a tired or generic site and rebuild it to a premium standard. Same content, completely different impression — usually the highest-impact money you can spend.
Full brand & site
Logo, colours, and a type system, plus the website they live on — one coherent identity, designed end to end so everything looks like it belongs together.
— How it works
Four steps, no surprises.
Tell me about it
Email a few paragraphs — what the business is, who it's for, and what the site needs to do. Rough is fine. I'll reply with questions and an honest read.
Fixed scope, fixed quote
We agree exactly what the site is (and isn't), and you get a fixed price and timeline before anything is built. No hourly meters running.
Design, then build
You see the design first and sign off on the look. Then it becomes a real, working site you can click through on your own phone — not just pictures.
Launch & hand-over
I handle hosting and deployment end to end and put it live on your domain — then hand everything over. The site, and the accounts, are yours.
— What you get
Everything, properly done.
- Hand-built and fast — real code, not a bloated page-builder, so it loads quickly and scores well.
- You own everything — the code, the design files, the domain, the hosting. No lock-in, ever.
- Works on every screen — designed mobile-first, tested from phone to desktop.
- Copy & structure help — I'll help shape what each page says and the order it says it in, if you want.
- SEO basics done right — titles, meta, sitemap, fast loads, so you're findable from day one.
- Hosted & maintained — I can host it (like this site) and make ongoing tweaks, or hand it to your host.
— Questions people ask
The honest answers.
What does a website cost?
It depends entirely on scope — a one-page site for a small business is a very different project from a multi-page site with a booking flow or a shop. That's why step one is free: you tell me about it, I tell you what it would cost, as a fixed number. You'll know the price before you commit to anything.
How long does it take?
A focused business site is usually a week or two; larger or multi-page sites run a few weeks. The fixed quote comes with a fixed timeline, and you sign off the design before the build starts — so there are no surprises about where it's heading.
Do I own the site?
Completely. The code, the design files, the domain, and the hosting are all in your name and handed over to you. If you ever want to move it elsewhere or bring in another designer, nothing's locking you in.
Can you redo my existing site?
Yes — redesigns are a big part of what I do. I'll take what's working, rebuild the rest to a premium standard, and keep your content and search rankings intact. Often it's the same site's worth of information making a completely different first impression.
Do you write the copy too?
I'll help. You know your business better than I do, but I'll help shape what each page says, cut the waffle, and put things in the order that actually gets people to act. If you already have copy, great; if not, we'll work it out together.
Do you host it, or do I?
Either. I can host it on fast, modern infrastructure (this whole site runs on it) and handle updates for a small monthly fee, or hand the finished site to your own host and step away. Your call.
The best way to start is a short email.
What the business is, and what you want the site to do. I'll take it from there.
