Hooperium shows you which local courts have players on them, lets you challenge one of them to a 1v1, and keeps a rating that only counts games you actually turned up and played.
Every pickup player knows the problem: you drive to the court and nobody is there. Hooperium answers the only question that matters before you leave the house — is anyone hooping, and are they any good?
Every court near you, and a live count of who is on it. A quiet court sits muted; a court with a game on it lights up. Check in when you arrive and you become part of that count for everyone else. Filter for lights, covered or indoor when the weather has an opinion.
Challenge anyone at the court. Before the game counts, both phones confirm over Bluetooth that you are genuinely standing there together — then you both report the score, and it only goes through if you agree. No remote wins, no invented results.
Win at a court and you climb its ladder. Win enough and the crown is yours — until someone turns up and takes it. Ratings decay if you stop playing, and beating the same friend over and over is worth less each time, so a crown means you are actually holding the court.
Post a session — "there's a run at Howick at 6" — set how many you need and let people tap in. Playing something that matters? Name a referee from whoever else is at the court, agreed by both players, and their call settles the score.
