Carpet cleaning leads emailed when someone needs a carpet clean
People usually post about carpet cleaning when a tenancy is ending, a pet has left a mess, or a house is going on the market and needs to look its best. These jobs tend to be clear and time-pressured, with a room count and a deadline the poster already has in mind. We watch Facebook groups, Neighbourly, Reddit and job boards across New Zealand for these requests and email you the ones matching your suburbs and job types, with a link to the original post.

Which carpet cleaning jobs we send you
Jobs we watch for
- End of tenancy carpet cleans. Posts asking for carpets steam cleaned before a final inspection or bond return.
- Stain and odour removal. Requests to treat pet stains, spills or smells in a specific room or hallway.
- Pre-sale carpet cleans. Sellers or agents wanting carpets refreshed before photos or an open home.
- Upholstery and rug cleaning. Posts about cleaning a sofa, chair or rug rather than fitted carpet.
- Whole-house carpet cleans. Requests to clean carpet throughout a house, often tied to a move or a deep clean.
Posts we leave out
- General house cleaning. Posts asking for a full house clean rather than carpets specifically, which belongs with general cleaning.
- Water damage restoration. Flood or burst-pipe jobs usually need a restoration specialist, not a routine carpet clean.
- Commercial contract tenders. Businesses calling for formal quotes on an ongoing office or retail contract.
These are starting points. You tell us exactly what you want and what to skip.

Winning carpet cleaning jobs from a post
- Ask for a room count and photos. A quick question about how many rooms and whether there is visible staining lets you quote without a site visit.
- Explain dry times upfront. Tenants and sellers often have a deadline, so saying how long the carpet needs to dry helps them judge if the timing works.
- Mention pet-safe or allergy-friendly products. If you use products safe for pets or children, say so briefly, since many posters mention pets in the same breath as the stain.
When carpet cleaning posts come up
Carpet cleaning posts tend to follow the same pattern as end of tenancy work, picking up around the end of the month when tenants move out. Spring brings a wave of pre-sale requests as houses go on the market, and pet-related stain posts appear throughout the year without a clear season. Winter months are generally quieter for whole-house jobs but still bring the occasional stain or spill request.

Carpet cleaning leads questions
Do you only send leads for carpet steam cleaning?
You tell us the carpet cleaning jobs you want, such as stain removal or end of tenancy cleans, and we only email you posts matching those and your suburbs.
Can I cover more than one region?
Yes. You tell us every town or suburb you cover and we watch for posts in all of them. You can add or remove areas any time by email.
Is there a limit on how many alerts I get?
No, and we cannot promise a number either. Other businesses in the same groups see the same posts, so replying quickly and well matters most.
What if I want to pause for a few weeks?
Email us and tell us to pause. Since it is a simple monthly subscription, you can also just cancel and resubscribe later if that suits you better.
How does the free trial work?
You add a card on Stripe’s secure checkout page, but nothing is charged for the first 14 days. After that it is $5 a month. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Do I need an Ethelium website?
No. Lead alerts work on their own. If you have a website plan with us you can add them to it from the plan builder.
Is there an app?
No app to install. Alerts arrive by email, so they work on any phone and you reply to the post from wherever you read it.
