Concrete Leads From NZ Community Posts

People turn to community groups when a driveway has cracked or sunk, when they want a new patio or path poured, or when a shed or garage needs a slab before it goes up. These jobs tend to need a firm quote and a clear idea of timing, since concrete work is weather dependent. We watch Facebook groups, Neighbourly, Reddit and job boards across New Zealand and email you a link to the original post.

Concrete leads: the posts we look for

  • Facebook groupDriveway has cracked badly in Napier, after years want it replaced properly this time.
  • NeighbourlyNeed a concrete slab poured for a new garage in Hamilton, roughly six by six metres.
  • RedditLooking for a quote on exposed aggregate paths around the house in Christchurch.
  • Job boardOur back patio has sunk in one corner in Lower Hutt, needs to be redone before summer.

Which concrete jobs we send you

Jobs we watch for

  • Driveway replacement or repair. Cracked, sunken or breaking-up driveways are common posts and often turn into a full replacement job.
  • New slabs for sheds or garages. Posts asking for a slab poured ahead of a shed, garage or carport delivery are time-pressured and well-defined.
  • Patios and outdoor living areas. Requests for a new or replacement patio often come up ahead of summer and can include decorative finishes.
  • Paths and walkways. Posts about paths that have cracked, sunk or never existed are a steady source of smaller, repeatable jobs.
  • Exposed aggregate or decorative finishes. Owners asking specifically for exposed aggregate or a particular finish are often willing to pay more for the right look.

Posts we leave out

  • Leftover concrete or materials for sale. Someone selling bags of cement or offcuts is not asking for a pour.
  • DIY concreting advice questions. Posts asking how to mix or lay concrete themselves are seeking tips, not a quote.
  • Equipment hire requests. Someone asking to hire a mixer or borrow formwork is planning to do the work themselves.

These are starting points. You tell us exactly what you want and what to skip.

Winning concrete jobs from a post

  • Ask about access for a truck. Concrete jobs depend on whether a truck can get close enough, so asking about access and any gates or slopes early avoids a wasted trip.
  • Give a realistic timeframe around weather. Being upfront that a pour needs a dry window builds trust and sets expectations better than promising a date you can't guarantee.
  • Mention the finish options you offer. Noting whether you do exposed aggregate, coloured or plain concrete helps a homeowner picture the result and choose you over a generic reply.

When concrete posts come up

Concrete posts tend to pick up in spring and summer when the weather is reliable enough for a pour, and around new builds when a slab is needed for a shed or garage. Posts about cracked or sunken driveways and patios often follow a wet winter, once the damage becomes obvious. Quieter stretches tend to fall over the wettest winter months, when pours are harder to schedule.

Concrete leads questions

How many concrete leads will I get a month?

We can't promise a number. It depends on your area and the job types you choose, and other concrete contractors in the same groups see the same posts, so a fast, solid reply matters most.

Can I choose which jobs I get alerted for?

Yes. You tell us the concrete jobs you want and don't want, plus the towns or suburbs you cover, and you can change that any time by email.

Is there a fee per lead or job I win?

No. It's a flat $5 NZD a month after your first two weeks free, with no fee per lead and no commission. You can cancel any month.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Everything arrives by email with a link to the original post, and you reply to it yourself. There's no app and no middleman involved.

How does the free trial work?

You add a card on Stripe’s secure checkout page, but nothing is charged for the first 14 days. After that it is $5 a month. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Do I need an Ethelium website?

No. Lead alerts work on their own. If you have a website plan with us you can add them to it from the plan builder.

Is there an app?

No app to install. Alerts arrive by email, so they work on any phone and you reply to the post from wherever you read it.
