Lead alerts for tradies: jobs people post, emailed to you

Every day people post “can anyone recommend a plumber?” or “need my lawns done this week” in local Facebook groups, on Neighbourly, on Reddit and on job boards. Our bot watches those places for posts that match your work and your area, and emails you each one with a link, so you can reply before anyone else does.

What you get

  • Four places watched. Facebook community groups, Neighbourly, Reddit and job boards.
  • Matched to your work. Posts are checked against the jobs you tell us you want.
  • Matched to your area. Only posts from the towns or suburbs you cover.
  • An email for each match. The post, where it was posted and a link straight to it.
  • You reply directly. No middleman, no lead fee, no commission. You answer the post yourself.
  • Change it any time. New service or new suburb? Email us and we update what the bot looks for.

Why community posts are good leads

Someone asking their neighbours for a tradie usually needs the job done soon and has not picked anyone yet. Those posts get a handful of replies, and the first clear, local reply often gets the call.

Nobody has time to scroll every group, every day, on top of the work itself. The bot does the scrolling and you only see the posts worth answering.

How it works

01

Tell us your jobs and area

Fill in the form: the work you want, anything to leave out, and the towns or suburbs you cover.

02

The bot watches

It reads new posts in Facebook community groups, Neighbourly, Reddit and job boards for ones that match.

03

You get an email

Each match lands in your inbox with a link to the post, so you can reply straight away.

Lead alerts questions

Where does the bot look?

Facebook community groups, Neighbourly, Reddit and job boards: the places people ask their neighbours to recommend a tradie.

Do I pay per lead?

No. It is $5 a month however many posts we send, after two free weeks. There is no fee per lead and no commission on the job.

Can other tradies see the same posts?

Yes. The posts are in community groups and open sites, so anyone in them can reply. The alerts help you see them sooner, and a quick, clear reply is usually what wins the job.

How many leads will I get?

It depends on your trade and how busy your area is, so we can’t promise a number. That is what the two free weeks are for.

Can I change what it looks for?

Yes. Email us a new service, a job type to leave out, or a new area, and we update it.

How does the free trial work?

You add a card on Stripe’s secure checkout page, but nothing is charged for the first 14 days. After that it is $5 a month. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Do I need an Ethelium website?

No. Lead alerts work on their own. If you have a website plan with us you can add them to it from the plan builder.

Is there an app?

No app to install. Alerts arrive by email, so they work on any phone and you reply to the post from wherever you read it.

Want to hear about the next job first?

Two weeks free, then $5 a month. Tell us your jobs and area and the alerts start once the bot is set up.
